“A structure dividing a space into two parts.” – An interactive study of movement, materials, and lighting, created using Three.js.

Recently I have spent some time in developing my knowledge of Three.js.

Starting from the ground up, initially I have focused on the basics, things like simple geometric forms, materials, lighting, and what is still one of my greatest challenges – shadows. (I intend to publish a detailed article about shadows at some point in the near future). I have also experimented with animation, controls, user interface, and making the web page installable as a progressive web app (PWA).

‘The Partition’ reflects a point where some of these first steps have started coming together for me in a somewhat tangible form. I look forward to sharing more studies soon.
