Info
Hi, I’m Henry Egloff, – a multimedia artist, designer, and coder, based in Byron Bay, Australia. I create digital art, design and code progressive web apps, write articles, and develop tutorials and learning resources.
I hold a degree in design from RMIT University (1996) and have been working as a professional designer / multimedia artist since the late 90s. I started my career in the fields of graphic design and interactive multimedia using tools like Macromedia Director before making my first website in 1999 using Flash.
During my career I have been lucky enough to work with many inspiring people around the globe and to have worked as a lead designer for companies based in Sydney, London, and San Francisco. Some of the highlights include making Flash websites for Quincy Jones, Ravi Shankar and Meshell Ndgeocello, and receiving a Flash site of the day award way back in 2000.
I also hold a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment and have been teaching part-time at the TAFE North Coast Institute of Technology since 2007.
I love messing around with code and multimedia, particularly three.js, vector artwork, CSS animation, javascript, audio, and Blender 3D. I love building progressive web apps and immersive interactive experiences, and I love elegant, optimised code.
You can find me in most of the usual places online such as LinkedIn, Codepen, Artstation and Pinterest, however these days I am most active on Behance, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, and Youtube.
I’m currently available for freelance / contract projects and online tuition.
