Artefact: “Something observed in a scientific investigation or experiment that is not naturally present but occurs as a result of the preparative or investigative procedure.”

Artefact 007 is one my first first experiments in the realm of generative art and is a recreation of my previous Artefacts series, originally created as video animations using Blender.

In Artefact 007 the different cube layers cycle through randomly generated values for their position, scale, and rotation. I also added some options / controls so that some of the values for size and position of the cubes can be messed around with in real time.
